Role Overview
The Marketing Admin Officer supports the execution of Design Depot’s marketing, promotional, and brand initiatives while also assisting with essential administrative and coordination tasks. This role blends creativity, organization, communication, and brand awareness, helping ensure Design Depot’s marketing runs smoothly both visually and operationally.
This position is ideal for someone who is creative, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable assisting with everything from design tasks and social media support to supplier communication and advertising coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in marketing and promotional idea generation.
- Design and help produce marketing materials such as flyers, banners, signage, brochures, T-shirts, bags, and other branded items.
- Assist with preparing, printing, and distributing marketing materials.
- Help maintain Design Depot’s product catalogues (digital and print).
- Ensure all marketing materials follow Design Depot’s Brand & Design Standards and maintain a clean, professional visual image.
- Monitor in-store signage and promotional materials and coordinate updates or reprints when needed.
- Assist with administrative marketing tasks including emails to suppliers, requesting quotations, phone calls, and coordination with service providers.
- Coordinate with media houses to ensure TV and radio ads are sent, scheduled, and aired as contracted, and help monitor ad rotations for quality and timing.
- Assist with posting content on Design Depot’s social media platforms.
- Respond to social media messages and basic customer inquiries when required.
- Have a basic understanding of social media content requirements, including aspect ratios and preparing visuals for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp.
- Assist with marketing events, promotions, and in-store activations.
- Provide general marketing support and assist other departments or sales when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must be flexible and willing to work Monday to Saturday.
- Professional and personal recommendations required.
- Must speak fluent English.
- Must have a valid Police Record.
Education
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Be flexible with time and responsibilities during campaigns, events, or urgent deadlines.
Software & Tools (Basic Knowledge Required)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
- Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Basic social media tools and platforms
- Understanding of preparing files for print and digital use
Advanced expertise is not required. guidance will be provided.
